Our Mission

At Watch-A-Pet, our mission is to bring pet owners together to exchange pet sitting services, fostering a community of care and support that includes cat pet sitting and dog pet sitting.

When you sign up, you can watch a neighbor's pet in exchange for tokens. These tokens are then used to connect with other local pet owners when you need a pet sitter. Instead of cash, you use tokens to pay for pet sitting services, creating a community where pets are cared for by a trusted network of fellow pet lovers.

We are currently focused on pet boarding. Pet walking, and pet grooming services will be offered as add-ons in the future.

To ensure your pet's safety and happiness, we require the following

  • Your neighbors provide proof of vaccinations (if applicable) and vet records to join.
  • We always complete a meet-and-greet with community members before any pet sitting arrangement.
  • Your neighbors submit photos of the specific spaces where pet care is being provided.
  • Neighbors typically visit the sitter's home to make sure the environment feels right for your pet, giving you peace of mind every step of the way.
